Enormously important for an enjoyable Stern holiday is excellent food. The ingredients are mostly procured locally and from Austria. Real freshness - the sophisticated creations that can be found daily on your plate, and uncommonly tasty. Our chef selects with care the natural and wholesome ingredients, attaches great importance to organic products and creates daily, with his skill and decades of experience, new culinary delights. The Austrian cuisine is for him in the foreground, and he gives tradition, in our Gourmet Half Board his personal light and fresh touch.
His recipes also go to other countries, he sees the international cuisine as an enrichment. Important is the variety of fresh herbs, which he predominantly takes from the STERN garden. He attaches great importance to the preparation of homemade juices which he processes from lilac, lavender, elderflower, lemon balm, strawberry, ...
The jams, from fruits from the garden or sun-ripened apricots from the Wachau. Enjoy the crispy fresh rolls with the "sweet on top", and the day takes a delicious beginning.
