Something special on the Stubnerkogel: thrills in peak altitude – Europe’s highest suspension bridge. The 460-foot-long suspension bridge breaks two records: It is the first suspension bridge at 7,500 ft and it’s the only one that high accessible all year round.

The highest ski area in Gastein (at up to 8,800 feet) impresses in particular with its snow reliability, through early May, and slopes that are especially interesting for athletic skiers. Thousands of feet of dream deep snow and moguls ... Gastein ski dreams come true here in a unique alpine landscape.

A ski resort for top skiers. The slopes are mostly in the forest area, thereby particularly wind-protected and orientation is easy in case of poor visibility. There is no direct ski lift connection to the other ski areas.
